The Department of Art History asked us to design a recruiting poster and brochure for a new doctoral program that trains students for academic research and teaching, curatorial positions, and other careers in the visual arts.
sponsored a calligraphy lecture/workshop with Kaz Tanahashi for which a poster was designed. We also designed their logo and letterhead package and collaborated on the redesign of their website.
Smyser Kaplan & Veselka requested a redesign of the logo we created 20 years ago to give them a more contemporary look. We kept the same font, Trajan, and created a logotype of the letters SKV,that ties in with their web address, SKV.com.

Houston Advanced Research Center requested a redesign of their logo, keeping the same acronym while portraying HARC as a bridge between the producers of knowledge and the users of knowledge. We also designed a 28 page book about HARC and its work.
Web fonts have given us more options and control in designing websites with a consistent style. ‘Tinos’ and ‘Open Sans’, designed by Steve Matteson, are the web fonts used on this site.
